The 2013 Tea Rose Stakes will take place under set weight plus penalty conditions and is open to three-year-old fillies only.

Scheduled to run as part of George Main Stakes Day, the race shares its program with the Group 1 George Main Stakes, Group 2 The Shorts, Group 2 Hill Stakes, Group 3 Bill Ritchie Handicap and Listed Heritage Stakes.

Arabian Gold is set to run in the 2013 Tea Rose Stakes in September after starting her spring campaign on a high.

The three-year-old won has won three of her four race starts this preparation, finishing second in her other start.

Arabian Gold’s latest win came in the $85,000 Win More With BOBS Handicap at Royal Randwick Racecourse on July 27, 2013, which she won by two lengths.

Jockey Peter Robl was impressed with her run and expects great things from the grey filly.

”I had to go to Plan D and I didn’t have a Plan D,” Robl said of the run.

”But she was travelling that well I just thought, ‘How good is this?”’

Arabian Gold has won four of her six race starts in total and has earned more than $104,000 in prize money during her career.
