The final field and barrier draw has been released for the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes that will take place at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse this Saturday September 17, 2011.
The 2011 Tea Rose Stakes is worth $175,000 in prize money and is run over a distance of 1,500 metres.
The race is open to three-year-old fillies only and has attracted acceptances from 11 horses.
Included in the 2011 Tea Rose Stakes final field and barrier draw is David Payne’s Florentina.
Florentina has finished second in both her last two starts in the Group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes and the Group 2 Furious Stakes.
The Redoute’s Choice filly has drawn barrier six in the 2011 Tea Rose Stakes and will be ridden by regular jockey Corey Brown.
Also included in the 2011 Tea Rose Stakes are Elite Falls, Pane In The Glass, Streama, Shared Reflections and Anise.
